01 Textile development

We don't stop
at just dyeing.
From fabric creation
we create value,
Proposal type
Textile development.

Sanyo Senko has evolved into a textile proposal company based on dyeing technology it has been honing for 100 years, creating new value from the “matching” of fabrics and processes.
By making full use of unique techniques such as indigo and dan-ochi bassen, the material itself is imbued with texture and individuality. We don't stop with just dyeing, we give meaning to the fabric itself.

With development capabilities that go beyond the boundaries of a dyeing factory, we continue to bring new surprises to domestic and international markets.

Special denim

We don't let the classics remain classics. Special denim made by Sanyo Senko. Because it is a material that everyone knows, we can create expressions that are unlike any other.
Sanyo Senko's "special denim" combines techniques such as indigo dyeing, discharge printing, and dan-ochi printing, and is designed from scratch to create the depth and texture of the fabric.
The gradations and pattern expressions that can only be achieved by dyeing from the fabric stage, as well as the texture that is different from each other.
We are proposing new denim possibilities beyond the staple.

Indigo

Deep, overlapping, growing. The power of the color indigo. Indigo dyeing isn’t just dyeing blue. The process of gradually changing color as it comes into contact with air requires time, experience, and senses.
Sanyo Senko is updating this traditional technique in a unique way, and is attempting to express the charm of indigo to the fullest.
A rare technique that allows you to dye "fabric" instead of thread, combined with small lot production and special discharge dyeing. All of this is done to make the possibilities of this color more free and interesting.

Dan-ochi Bassen

The only technique in the world to "discharge" gradation. "Dan-ochi Bassen" is a technique unique to Sanyo Senko that gradually removes color from indigo-dyed fabric to create a gradation pattern.
This process, which originally required delicate manual labor, has now been successfully mass-produced by machine for the first time in the world. Now you can reproduce the shaded beautiful pattern expression with a stable quality.
This technology is gentle on the fibers, changing the look while maintaining the texture, and expanding its potential not only for denim and casual wear, but also for the entire lifestyle.

At times, it also plays the role of a trading company, working alongside brands and manufacturers.
